About Us
What Sets Us Apart
At Spring of Hope, we are dedicated to combating human trafficking on a global scale. Our mission is to offer a lifeline to those ensnared in the horrors of trafficking, providing comprehensive support to help them escape, heal, and reclaim their lives. Guided by Christian values of love, compassion, and justice, we strive to be a beacon of hope for survivors and a force for change in the fight against modern-day slavery.
Our Mission
Serving sexually exploited Bulgarians with targeted efforts in prevention, intervention, & restoration.

Research indicates that poverty and insufficient education are among the most crucial factors contributing to the risk of trafficking and exploitation. Prevention strategies are essential for combating human trafficking and are fundamental to eradicating this form of modern slavery. While we recognize that raising awareness is vital, we also understand that improving quality of life can significantly reduce the likelihood of exploitation. To support this, we collaborate with partner organizations by donating clothing, school supplies, food and toys to at-risk communities. Additionally, we engage in educational initiatives focused on empowering at-risk young people and children, such as awareness campaigns about human trafficking, parenting workshops, and teaching basic life skills.
No matter how much work and resources go into intervention and after-care, human trafficking will never truly end until there are targeted efforts in prevention. Research has shown that the most at-risk groups for trafficking are minors living in poverty. Where girls are recruited for prostitution, boys are often recruited for pimping and other criminal activity. When opportunities are lacking, criminal activity takes root. We envision a Bulgaria where every child has the opportunity for education and support to reach their potential. Communities that thrive, not just survive. Therefore we partner with organizations, churches and municipalities that work to see their people given opportunities and job skills training. We raise support and provide resources for their vision, such as parenting classes, anger management seminars, clothes, food, etc.

One of the foundation's goals is to reach victims of exploitation where they are - on the streets, in clubs and online. We use a variety of creative approaches to express empathy, inspire hope and offer opportunity.
Exploitation does not happen overnight, therefore it only makes sense that recovery from exploitation does not happen quickly either. It takes dedication, motivation, support and opportunity for someone to walk the path of recovery. We desire to see survivors thrive in the lives that they want for themselves. We support survivors by offering grants for education and/or businesses, psychological and spiritual support, life skills training, mentorship and more.
